Lowell was introduced to acting by the movie Dangerously Close followed by a tiny role in the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. The roles she played included co-starring with Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as well as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She also appeared in Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she played the same role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. And again in 2022 on the original series. Prior to landing that role, however she was frustrated in her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking course. [4] In the mid-2000s she took a break from acting. Lowell was able to lend Lowell her voice and likeness in 2012 when she reprised her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. In 2018 she returned to TV, appearing as a guest on the show Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell has been married three more times. John Stember, a fashion photographer with whom she was first married, was her third husband. [9][10] The couple was together as actor Griffin Dunne from 1989 to 1995. They have one daughter, Hannah, from the marriage. [citation needed] Lowell married Richard Gere [11] in November 2002 following the birth of their child Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. After eleven years of union, the couple split in September of 2013. They spent three years in New York Supreme Court divorce process. The divorce case was settled in October 2016. [13]
